  1. After-School Program Instructor - Starting September 2025

 Job Description:

As an After School Program Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in various educational and recreational activities. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and leading structured sessions in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sports & Physical Activities (e.g., various sports, martial arts, dance)

  • STEM & Academic Enrichment (e.g., coding, science, math, English, debate)

  • Creative Arts (e.g., fine arts, drama, music)

  • Strategic & Language-Based Programs (e.g., chess, foreign languages, other engaging clubs)

Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

  • Passion for working with children and promoting positive development

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred

  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor of Education, ECE (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent work experience/qualification is preferred

  • Ability to effectively manage groups of students and adapt to varying needs and abilities

Grade 2 Teacher - Maternity Leave

Glenmore Christian Academy (GCA) is a private Alberta accredited Christian school located in the Southwest of Calgary, Alberta, specializing in the education of children in Grades JK-9.
